First off I love coffee!!! smooth easy to drink and not biting you back from the cup. Peets is that for me, I have a thing for Major Dickason's. Second is the Staff, the Manager Antares is Awesome! She and her Staff( Heidi, Carol, Esparza , Zoe , Lara are all so kind and address you by name. Its such a pleasant feeling to welcomed. I highly recommend stopping here for a little peace and smooth coffee.

Super friendly store and personal customer interaction. This place embodies what Starbucks wants to be but will never achieve. One thing I would change he: replace the factory made bakery items with local quality ones. Your coffee deserves better.

I am a loyal Peetnik for decades starting in the 60's in Berkeley. I have rarely written about the deportment of an employee. The employee about whom I write is John Conyer. He needs to be recognized for his efficiency, politeness, and congeniality as a barista at the Santa Barbara store. He always greets me with a cheerful smile and "Hi!" He always executes my order perfectly and does it with the utmost courtesy. Customer service is important, rare and short supply these days, but John has got it right. Whoever hired him knew he was a man of character. He is a real asset to your establishment.

The only coffee shop in town for me! In the 13+ years I've been coming to this location I've only had one bad experience. The person in charge is always upbeat, friendly, and OH so helpful!! They're fast and efficient and SERIOUSLY have the TASTIEST pastries!! Today I changed it up and had the Havana Cappuccino and it was perfect! Just the right amount of sweet to still enjoy the rich coffee flavor! I added a Crispy Ham and Swiss sammie which the manager recommended and it was DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend both!! I think for a small coffee shop they have adequate seating and even a few tables on the sidewalk out front. They have a good sized gender neutral bathroom which was great when I was on a knee walker-enough room to maneuver-and room for a stroller for the mom behind me with her kiddo in tow. I'm in town a couple times a week and this is always my ONLY coffee stop. Grab some fresh roasted for home while you are here-yes I have PEET'S and ONLY PEET'S at home!!

Customer service is always top-notch and I love true ir coffee out of all the corporate shops. Ambiance is friendly and food is good in a pinch when pressed for time.

This location is a hidden Gem, the staff are so warm and welcoming, Tavares , Heidi, and staff greet you by name and often remembered what you like to order. It's a kind of small town feel and of course delicious coffee.

I came in and was treated so kindly. The cashier was super patient as it was my first time here. She gave me some recommendations and made sure to warm up my pastry. It looked pretty busy and there were several people waiting for their orders. She was cool as a cucumber and made sure each customer received their order. I'd come back, great customer service!
